What is an Elopement ?
An elopement involves going away to have a small, intimate wedding, centred around the couple and their love, either alone or with under 10 guests. This makes elopements more personal, romantic, and unique than traditional weddings as the day is free from rigid structure, so you can choose to only include the elements that resonate most with you. Elopements are not a big display or performance for the benefit of other people – they are a relaxed, low pressure celebration of two people’s love, in which they legally marry with an officiant in the setting of their choice.
What is a Minimony ?
A Minimony is an unofficial mini-ceremony which gives your guests a preview of what is to come. You won’t exchange your legal vows, but can still make meaningful promises and commitments to each other in front of a celebrant and small number of guests. If you move forward with a Minimony to solidify your union and honour your original wedding date, you can hold your postponed ceremony and reception later as a ‘sequel’.
What is Micro Wedding ?
A micro-wedding is considered to be akin to a traditional wedding day, just with 50 guests or fewer. If you feel that less is more, smaller guest numbers allow you to be more flexible and creative, and are far easier to co-ordinate. Budget-friendly locations open up before your eyes, such as a private dining area at that top restaurant you’ve always wanted to try, or even a backyard garden party, with a marquee and tipis at home.

Though a large guest list would make for a very lively party, the drawback is that you won’t get a chance to catch up with everybody there.
